Reverand Garland

The Coalitions Founder and Trailblazer

The Coalition is 100% Black Female Owned and Operated by our very own Rev Marcia Garland of Road To Life Deliverance Church Of God from Fort Lauderdale in Florida. A Jamaican by birth, that immigrated to the UK as a young child. Who has a Woman of Faith (championed by her late maternal grandmother Mercel Urcell Allen) quickly developed compassion and empathy for her fellow Jamaicans has a result of her direct involvement in the International Pentecostal City Mission Church in Bristol, England. That involvement nurtured in her the innate compassion and empathy that today remains the driving force behind this dream chaser and visionary extraordinaire. Encouraged by one of the church members. Rev Garland embarked on a two-year course at Bulmershe Community College in Reading, England, and upon completion earned in 1985 her Certificate in Youth and Community Work. She migrated to the USA in 1989 and in Los Angeles California met her husband of 25 years, Timothy. Timothy's passing in 2015 was devastating to Rev Garland but in March of 2021 prompted by the Rauch HoKadesh (The Holy Spirit)) She reached out to a handful of small business owners located in downtown Glendale only to discover a desperate need for what is now the Coalitions Motivation. After months of dedicating her time and effort to what is the Organizations Slogan. Rev Garland seized the opportunity to turn those informal meetings into her own business venture in January of 2022. Although the Coalition is in its infancy It's experiencing exponential growth and is already being sort after in other Arizona Cities. Rev Garland lives in Arizona with her 3 children. One of whom has attained a Batchelor's Degree in Graphic Design from ASU. While another is pursuing a Batchelor's Degree in Business Management. The Coalition is excited to see where the path that Rev Garland walks, due to her obedience to her Creator will take her; confident that it will continue to enrich not only their lives, but the lives of thousands within her community that are the descendants of Africans, that were forcible removed from their homeland to become Slaves until 1865 in the USA.
